At the beginning of each deal/game in Indian Online Rummy, each player receives 13 cards. Despite the cards being dealt at random, experienced players are known to play against the odds and win, proving that Rummy is a game of skill rather than chance.
The 13-Card Rummy game can be played by a minimum of two players and a maximum of six players on Rummysheild. If there are more than two players in a game, two decks of cards are used.
The player who tosses the card first plays first.
Each game begins with a toss to determine who deals cards. Afterward, 13 cards are dealt with each player, followed by a wild Joker drawn from a closed deck. An open deck is formed by placing the first card of the remaining cards face up, and a closed deck is formed by placing the remaining cards face down.
A player arranges all 13 cards in his/her hand in a sequence or set. On each player's turn, a card must be chosen from either the closed deck or the open deck, and a card must be discarded to the open deck. The winner arranges all of his/her cards in a valid sequence and/or set first.

In Indian Rummy, a sequence combines three or more consecutive cards of the same suit. For example, A-K-Q-J is a sequence. Among the most important aspects of Indian Online Rummy are sequences. To win a game, a player must form two sequences, one of which is pure (a Joker has not been substituted for any card) and one of which is set.
Set: A set of Indian Rummy cards consists of three or four cards of the same rank/value but with different suits. For Ex: Sets of cards are made up of cards of the same rank but different suits, such as 7-7-7-7.
Jokers: Jokers (both wild and printed Jokers) play an important role in Rummy since they can make sequences and sets!
All the cards have to be arranged in a proper sequence and/or set to win the real cash rummy games. Indian Rummy requires players to form at least two sequences, of which one must be a pure sequence (with no Joker), while all other cards must be arranged in sequence and/or sets to win.
When a player reaches the game's goal, he/she declares the game by discarding one card to the Finish Slot. In the case that the hand is valid, the winning player receives zero points, while the losing players receive points equal to the value of their unmatched cards.
Depending on how many points you score, you win or lose a game when you play online Rummy with real money. A winning or losing amount is calculated based on the predefined value of the chips, i.e., the value of each point in rupees. A winner receives the sum of the amounts lost by all the other players.
